Radar Online reports that a California woman has obtained a temporary restraining order against actress Leighton Meester’s mother.
The woman filed against Constance Meester in the case, claiming she threatened to “hunt down and kill” her and her son, in a January 21 incident.
In the papers obtained by Radar Online, Laurel Wiig described Meester as “an addict.” A Los Angeles judge ordered Constance to stay 100 yards away from Wiig.
“She is an addict and had made a threat to kill,” reports Radar Online.
The actress’ mother served time in federal prison in 1985 after she was convicted of drug trafficking from Jamaica to the US.
54-year-old Meester was pregnant with her daughter when she began serving time on August 8, 1985, and the girl was raised by her grandmother until her mother was released in 1995.
