Blake Lively in the shoes of Carrie Bradshaw?

No official comments has been made on the side of the Gossip Girl actress but according to Popeater, Michael Patrick King, producer of the ‘Sex and the City’ series, is very seriously considering another movie for this, he would like Blake Lively in the cast.

The film, titled “The Carrie Diaries”, will be an adaptation of the novel by Candace Bushnell. It will trace the adventures of the character played by Sarah Jessica Parker in her teens until her arrival in New York.

As the second movie didn’t meet the expected success, Michael Patrick King would like to try a new formula. A source close to the project revealed: “The prequel is about breathing new life into the story and exploring Carrie’s first few months in NYC and the beginning of her relationship with an older man.”
