Camille Grammer opens up about divorce from Kelsey Grammer

Camille Grammer filed for divorce over the summer and, according to the 42 year old star, their split was done via text messages. While she was in California and he was in New York, Camille got a call from a mutual friend telling her about his possible infidelities.

In June I got a phone call from a mutual friend in New York who was upset by behavior of his that she’d seen. I asked, “Is he leaving me?” and she said, “Yes.” I called him but couldn’t get through, so I texted him and asked him to please call me. Nothing. An hour later, I texted him again and he wrote: “I don’t want to talk.” I wrote, “We’ve been together for 14 years; I deserve an explanation.” Finally, three hours later, he called me. He basically said, “I don’t want to be married anymore.”

Camille, Kelsey’s third wife, claims she proposed going to a therapist to her husband but he refused as he wanted to make public his affair with flight attendant, Katye Walsh, who has recently suffered a miscarriage.

In an interview with People, Camille complains about how hard it is to explain to their two children about the rumored girlfriend of her ex-husband and how their relationship has changed.

“They still don’t realize he’s not coming back. They think their daddy is busy doing a play. I’m trying to work with them on the concept that he’s not going to come home the way they think he is.”

Kelsey Grammer has two children from his relationships with Doreen Alderman and Barrie Buckner. He and Camille Grammer were together for nearly 13 years.
