Candace Cameron Bure reveals past struggle with bulimia
Since the end of the hit series Full House in 1995 after 200 episodes, we lost track of DJ Tanner, namely Candace Cameron.
Cameron, who played the eldest Tanner sister on screen alongside Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner and the Olsen twins, has released a book called ”Reshaping It All“ in which she reveals her battle with bulimia after the end of the series.
“It’s a very dangerous cycle that can just start to consume your life and really take over.” Cameron Bure told People. “The goal was not to lose weight. It was all about emotions.”
Revelations that echo the recent death of model Isabelle Caro following a terrible disease, anorexia.
Fortunately for the actress, she has come out winning this fight and was married in 1996 to former hockey player Valeri Bure. From this union three kids were born: Natasha, 12, Lev, 10, and Maks, 8.
With the help of her family, Candace found a healthier lifestyle and spends plenty of time on exercises with her husband and children.
Candace is currently starring in ABC’s family series Make It or Break It.
