Freida Pinto says relationship with Dev Patel is “challenging”

The two started dating since they met on the set of the film “Slumdog Millionaire”. The actress said that despite being apart most of the time as they are focusing on their careers, they do however try to keep the flame of their romance burning.

She says, “I’m still together with Dev. It’s a challenge to meet mid-way because I live in Bombay. And we know that we’ve got to concentrate and focus on that as well, just as much as we concentrate and focus on the relationship.”

“But at the same time, we both respect and support each other,” she continues. “We know this is our work. And we know that we’ve got to concentrate and focus on that as well, just as much as we concentrate and focus on the relationship.”

Recently, Freida’s friends have urged her to slow down a bit as she is putting her health in danger.

In an interview with Total Film magazine she said: “I’ve been sick recently. Overwork. My body was just screaming and telling me, ‘Stop what you’re doing for a bit.’Recently a friend said, ‘Freida, you have to learn the art of saying, ‘No.’”
