Friends star David Schwimmer welcomes baby girl
The former Friends actor became a father for the first time.
Actor and director David Schwimmer, 44, the unforgettable Ross Geller in the series Friends, is a father for the first time.
According to the actor’s rep, his wife, Zoe Buckman, a British photographer whom he married last June, gave birth to little Cleo on May 8 in New York.
The actor has also twittered earlier in the day to announce the news.
“Hey everyone”, he wrote, “Please welcome my daughter, Cleo, to this crazy but wonderful world,” before posting a photo of the new family.
This is the first child of the couple, who has been together since 2007.
Schwimmer recently directed Trust, a movie starring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener, and will soon reprise his role as Melman in Madagascar 3.
