Ryan Dunn of Jackass died in a car accident that occurred early this morning (June 20) in Pennsylvania. He was 34.
Dunn had taken part in all Jackass movies. In the first feature film in 2002, he forced a toy car down into his rectum.
Earlier, Bam Margera’s mother confirmed the news to TMZ. Dunn had also been on the show Viva la Bam!
Dunn and an unidentified person were killed in the accident in the early hours of the morning at the intersection of Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen.
For now, it is unclear who was driving the vehicle or if alcohol played a role in this drama. Dunn had tweeted a picture of himself drinking with friends hours before the accident.
The car in which he was traveling with the other person caught fire after hitting a tree. The collision occurred around 2:30 or 3 am, according to various sources.
The police should soon reveal more details about the accident.
Jackass star Johnny Knoxville paid tributes to his former co-star on Twitter: “Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan, I love you buddy.”
He later added: “Please drive safe and wear your seat belt. Ryan Dunn will be missed. God bless.”
