On Thursday, Josh Duhamel was kicked off a plane that flew from New York to Kentucky. The actor would didn’t want to turn off his BlackBerry.
A source told TMZ that a flight attendant asked Duhamel to turn off his BlackBerry before takeoff but the actor refused.
One passenger said that Duhamel was “very rude” and harassing the flight attendant. The latter reportedly asked the actor to close the gadget on three occasions. On the third time, the actor made fun of the employee of the airline.
The flight attendant got angry and then asked for backup. The plane, which was already on the runway, was turned back to the gate. Duhamel was then kicked off from the aircraft, escorted by two policemen.
Before the incident, Duhamel was in the airport bar, according to TMZ.
The actor’s rep told TMZ that his client was sending a text message about his flight being late. “He’s sorry’” he adds.
