The 13-year-old will play the heroine who survives being brainwashed by a jellyfish queen in the ocean in the upcoming Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys, a mixed live-action and animation movie.

The film is based on author Dennis H. Christen’s novel of the same name and it is the first in a saga of five episodes.

“She wants to be an actress,” producer Stephen Sobisky tells People. “She wants to take on her dad’s legacy and do something good for the world and our product does that.”

Paris’ family had advised her to wait until she was 18 before she launched her acting career. However, the teenager managed to convince her grandmother Katherine to allow her to play that role as she thinks her father would have loved a film about friendship and magic.

Filming is scheduled to begin next month for a theatrical release in 2013. Profits from the movie will go to United States schools.

“She is a sweet, smart girl,” says Sobisky. “Our goal is to make sure she has a fun time doing something that keeps her busy. We’re a family-driven group. For me, Paris is going to be like one of my children and I’m going to protect just like I do my other three kids. We want her to enjoy this experience.”

“I Wanna Leave My Footprints On The Sands Of Time. When I Leave This World I’ll Leave No Regrets. I’ll Leave Something For Them Not To Forget,” Paris tweeted Thursday.
