It seems that actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi, are wanted in the United States due to vandalism, but the couple claim refugee status in Canada.

They said: “We feel our lives are in danger”.

According to police officers, the two were arrested on Thursday in Vancouver.

Evi added that they decided to act like this because in the past years eight of her husband’s acting friends had been murdered.

Moreover, their attorney replayed: “Yes, we are seeking asylum from Hollywood star whackers.”

The two were freed on C$10,000 cash bond until another hearing next Thursday.
