Robert Pattinson on Kristen Stewart and fame in Vanity Fair

The handsome actor, who is about to turn the page on Twilight for good, once filming is completed in Vancouver, has revealed a new facet of his personality through the lens of the talented photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Unlike their characters in the Twilight saga, actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart seem to have trouble making their relationship last.

In the interview with Vanity Fair, Pattinson said that all the media attention surrounding his love life with Stewart leads to tensions in their relationship.

The 24-year-ld star revealed: “It’s very traumatic. When this is over, the media will lose interest. There’ll be nothing to say. It won’t fit into a headline anymore. It won’t fit into a template.”

Speaking of his girlfriend, Pattinson admits he already much admired Stewart before they met.

“She’s cool. Even before I knew her I thought she was a really good actress. Like, I saw Into the Wild, and I thought she was really good in that. I still think there are very few girls in her class that are as good as she is,” he said.

Pattinson also revealed his thoughts on his status as a famous person: “There’s nothing you can do about it… This thing with everyone knowing you, it’s weird, because people have this one-sided relationship where they look at your picture and feel they know you more than someone they actually know. I don’t really know myself that well.”
