Tony Romo: Jessica Simpson’s ex will marry Candice Crawford
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, a former boyfriend of Jessica Simpson, is engaged to Chace Crawford’s (from “Gossip Girl”) sister, a former Miss Missouri, The33TV.com first reported the engagement.
Romo popped the question on Thursday, on the day of the 24th anniversary of the young woman, reports Usmagazine.com. The couple has been dating since September 2009.
Romo has previously dated Jessica Simpson for nearly two years. The star of the Dallas Cowboys ended their relationship on the eve of the singer’s 29th anniversary in July 2009. He also dated the singer Carrie Underwood and actress Sophia Bush.
Simpson then began seeing Eric Johnson, a former NFL player in May. The couple got engaged in November.
