Brandy is eliminated, Bristol Palin is “Dancing with the Stars” finalist
“Dancing with the Stars” eliminated singer Brandy Norwood and professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy during Tuesday night’s show on ABC after being at the top of the leader board for several weeks.
This marks the third week that Bristol Palin survives elimination despite finishing in last place in the judge’s scoring. A record-high number of votes was also a reason for this.
Host Tom Bergeron’s announcement of Norwood’s elimination shocked nearly everyone in the „Dancing with the Stars” ballroom.
“I am shocked because last night [Brandy] delivered a fantastic performance. We’ve just seen it, amazing!” judge Bruno Tonioli said.
“One thing that I love, for my family, the choice they made to come to this country,” said Ukrainian-born Maks, “the fact that people vote and voices count. I love that this show represents that, the people’s choice.”
“I don’t regret a second of the last five years of my being on the show and definitely not a second of me being on this season. It’s been an amazing journey.”
“I don’t know how to feel right now. It hasn’t processed yet for me,” Brandy said after hearing the news
The couple had been widely considered, along with actress Jennifer Grey and partner Derek Hough, one of the two favorites to win the trophy.
Bristol Palin and her partner Mark Ballas will duel Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough and Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer next Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Just give Bristol the glass ball. She is going to win anyway. She did not earn the right to be in the finals, so just give her the ball and let’s just pray that no other republican offspring want to compete next season and maybe talented people win. i think we should not even watch the finale next Monday night.

I was floored when Bristol Palin won over Brandy, i stop watching American Idol because i felt that the voteing and how they kept chicken little on AI, This is my first time watching DWTS,and i see that the voteing hasn’t changed, Pailn has been on the very bottom of the leader board for several weeks now,and Brandy was on top. the judges had nothing but great comments to Brandy and her partner. they were always the ones who were always the first to come back week after week, they should of also beat Kyle. but because Bristol mom is in the public eye and is well liked they kept her come back week after week Im with Brandys partner. about the dancer and how well they performed. but in this case its who you know what kept Bristol coming back. she has improved but not enough to beat Brandy, these last couple weeks i could’nt understand why she kept coming back, she knows in her heart that Brandy was a better dancer, if she was any kind of a person she would back down and give it to the person who really should of gotton it in the first place and that is Brandy.
I would not even waist my time looking at Dancing With Starts because first of Sarah Palin’s daughter cannot dance and has no dance experience. I really do not see her winning. Sarah needs to shut up because Brandy deserves it better her daughter, Bristol. I want all of your republicans out of this world. Overall, I hate republicans and they need to go back to where their belong. There better no be any republicans on the next season of dancing with the stars. If Bristol Palin wins, it does not change to what she and her mother are. Both of them are trash.
