Casey Anthony prosecutor Jeff Ashton is writing a book about the case

One of the prosecutors in the Casey Anthony murder trial announced his plans to release a book about the case.

Jeff Ashton’s book is titled Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony and it is scheduled to be released in November.

Ashton retired from his position as Assistant State Attorney in Florida , which he had occupied for more than 30 years, days after the Casey Anthony trial ended.

Listings for the book appeared Saturday on Amazon.ca today and Barnes & Noble’s website offered pre-orders.

Ashton confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel that he is the author of the book but refused to give details on the content.

“I wasn’t aware that it was going to go online today,” Ashton told the newspaper.

Twitter and Facebook users were also attracted by the book, described as a 256-page hardcover that will be available on November 28th.
