The final four contestants took the floor on Monday night at the „Dancing With the Stars” semi-finals, where each couple danced two routines.
The judges gave straight tens for the couple Jennifer Grey – Derek Hough for their cha cha to Duffy’s “Mercy”. Bruno Tonioli said their “execution was flawless,” and Len Goodman admired their mastery of both technique and performance.
Jennifer and Derek’s ballroom waltz later got another perfect score of 30, representing the season’s first perfect 60 score.
“That’s 30 out of 30 which gives you a perfect score for the night — 60 out of 60 — I’m glad to see the happiness coming back. How does that feel both of you?” Dancing with the Stars co-host Brooke Burke asked the couple.
“Wow!” Hough exclaimed.
“Spectacular!” Grey said.
“Wow it’s just amazing, what a great night!” Hough added.
Hough won the previous 10th season of “Dancing With the Stars” with partner Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls. He also won the seventh season with Brooke Burke, who is now a co-host of the series along with Tom Bergeron.
Bristol Palin and partner Mark Ballas earned a 26 out of 30 for their waltz and a 27 out of 30 for the paso doble for a total of 53 out of 60.
Disney Channel star Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer finished in second place with 58 points after they received 29 points for their samba and 29 points for their Argentine tango routine.
Brandy and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy earned 10s form all three judges for their Argentine tango, but their paso doble fell earned only 27 out of 30.
