Jamie Oliver is thrilled to have a boy!
As we announced yesterday, chef Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools are the proud parents of s baby boy.
It seems that the baby born on September 15th 2010 and his name will be Buddy Bear Maurice Oliver.
The child, weighed in at 6lb 9oz, was named after Jools’ father who died in 1997.
Buddy is the first boy in the family while the couple has three daughters: Poppy, 8, Daisy, 7, and Petal, 1.
Jamie, 35, tweeted: “It would be great to have a boy, as I am in a totally estrogen-filled house. But I really don’t mind as long as it’s healthy.
“It’s a baby boy guys !!! I’m shock, were all very happy, mum was amazing and both are well and happy x4 kids!! what?!”
Before his son born, the chef said: “If I can’t produce a boy I will have to adopt one. I would consider it.
“We have three beautiful, healthy girls and we cherish them.
“But I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t be great to have a boy.
“Adoption is such a selfless act and they have a lovely family environment. It’s humbling and beautiful to see.
“Jools would like to have another child but there are so many vulnerable orphans out there.
“Jools and I need to sit down and have a very serious conversation about it.”
