Kate Gosselin says pressure and “divorce anger” are reasons for kids’ expulsion

Two of the family’s eight children, Collin and Alexis, both 6, were recently expelled from school, but now they’re doing their daily work with a teacher who “is working closely with our kindergarten teachers in school, doing the identical curriculum,” says Kate. 

“The pressure was getting to them. You have the divorce anger mixed in with that. They need some breathing time,” Kate explained. “The goal is to get them back into school as soon as possible.”

Last year, Kate and Jon Gosselin, stars of the TLC reality series “Jon and Kate Plus 8”, decided to divorce after 10 years of marriage.

Regarding the way in which the two parents will be spending holiday time with the kids, Kate said, “We have been able to work out the holiday time peacefully. I will have the first half, Jon will have the second half, and we just take it year by year, holiday by holiday.”
