William and Kate will be the guests of honor at the ceremony, which will take place on February 12th at the Royal Opera House in London.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend the @BAFTA Film Awards ceremony on the 12th February,” a tweet from the Kensington Palace read.
The prince will also present the Fellowship, which is annually awarded during the ceremony to an individual for exceptional recognition and contribution to the arts.
The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, hasn’t appeared on the red carpet at the BAFTA awards since 2011, when she shone in an Alexander McQueen dress.
