Katy Perry recently performed in US children’s show Sesame Street but due to critics, the show has been axed by producers.

Katy sang her hit Hot & Cold alongside puppet character Elmo but in a different version. Rumors say that parents who saw the video think Katy appears too sexy for a children show.

The show’s producers announced that Katy’s performance on Sesame Street will not be screened because of the “feedback we’ve received”. Nevertheless, the show can be watched on YouTube and also on Katy Perry’s website.

According to a rep, the singer enjoyed the time recording the video and her fans will be able to watch it again on her website. All in all, the show’s 41th season will air on 27 September and will guest star also Oprah Winfrey, Jason Bateman and Colin Farrell.
