It seems that host Keith Olbermann admitted donating $2,400 apiece to the campaign of several people and as a result to that, MSNBC suspended him.

The money went to Senate candidate Jack Conway and Arizona Reps. Raul Grivalva and Gabrielle Giffords.

Moreover, NBC does not allow its employees to donate or work for political campaigns and in the case of Olbermann, his bosses find out after the money was already donated.

According to Phil Griffin, “I became aware of Keith’s political contributions late last night. Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay.”

To replace Keith, the network announced, Chris Hayes. This news was first reported by Politico.
