TMZ reports that around 30 witnesses will be called in the preliminary hearing for the manslaughter case against Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson.

The preliminary hearing will last for about two weeks and prosecutors will to try to prove that Murray recklessly medicated Jackson on the day he died with propofol and other drugs at his home.

Various medical experts and three LAPD detectives involved with the case will be witnesses for the prosecution.

This case will be different from a typical manslaughter case because it will set out to prove that a doctor committed a homicide in the treatment of a patient.
