Amy Winehouse has canceled Monday’s scheduled concerts in Greece and Turkey, following her disastrous concert in Belgrade.
Perhaps intoxicated, Amy Winehouse was booed Saturday, June 18, by her fans during her concert in Belgrade. The singer was unable to properly sing any song despite remaining on stage for 70 minutes.
“Despite feeling sure that she wanted to fulfill these commitments, she has agreed with management that she cannot perform to the best of her ability and will return home. … She would like to apologize to fans expecting to see her at the shows but feels that this is the right thing to do,” her management announced.
Initially, Amy Winehouse was scheduled to perform at Kucuk Ciftlik Park festival in Istanbul and Ejekt festival in Athens.
Amy Winehouse was released two weeks ago from a rehab clinic in London.
