Amy Winehouse’s father claims her belongings were stolen

Amy Winehouse’s father is furious. He strongly believes that some of his daughter’s belonging were stolen after her death.

Mitch Winehouse says that his daughter’s house had been broken into and many valuable items had been stolen.

However, until now, only two lyric books have been officially declared missing to police.

“This is such a sickening shock to the family,” a friend of Amy’s told The Sun. “That someone would stoop so low. They can’t get their heads around it.”

About twenty people had access to Amy Winehouse’s house in Camden. Among them are family members, friends, security guards and police. But Mitch suspects a particular acquaintance of his daughter. He claims that person seized the items missing in the days that followed her death.

“Mitch is livid,” the friend adds. “The family, record label and management are months away from deciding what to do with any unreleased music. For that to be taken out of their hands is horrible.”

The singer’s father gave away items such as clothing belonging to the star to fans in the days after her death.

Mitch is prepared to give a chance to those who stole Amy’s belongings. He simply asks that the items are put back in their place.

“Mitch is willing to give whoever has stolen the items a chance to do the right thing and put them back so it doesn’t have to get messy.”

In the meantime, reports say that Winehouse’s ex husband Blake Fielder-Civil is planning to write a tell-all book about the late singer.
