Beyoncé and Jay-Z release first pictures of Blue Ivy

Much has been said about Blue Ivy, born on January 7, but no picture was even published.

One might have thought that the new parents reportedly pocketed a nice check by selling the pics to the highest bidder magazine.

However, the couple decided to ignore the media by posting photos of their baby on Jay-Z’s official website, LifeAndTimes , and thus make self-promotion.

“We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter Family.”

These are the few words that couple wrote along with five beautiful pictures of their baby on their dedicated website.

In one of the photos, Beyoncé poses with her daughter in his arms, with her nails painted blue.

In another shot, the proud father seems blissfully happy to be holding his beautiful daughter.
