Beyonce gives away Gaddafi’s $1 million

The superstar said she donated the cash to earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

In the midst of controversy over a concert for one of the dictator’s sons on New Year’s Eve 2009, the singer was keen to clarify the situation in a statement posted on her website.

“Once it became known that the third party promoter was linked to the Qaddafi (Gaddafi) family, the decision was made to put that payment to a good cause,” she said in a statement.

This concert was quite controversial at the time, yet Beyonce seemed not to pay attention.

If these facts prove true, Beyonce is skillfully escaping all suspicion.

This isn’t the case for other stars who have been called to sing for the Gaddafi family.

Although Nelly Furtado says she is eager to give all this money for a good cause, she still failed to do so until the scandal broke out.

As for others like Mariah Carey, Usher and Lionel Richie, they remain silent on this dark big business.
