Beyoncé welcomes baby girl Blue Ivy Carter
According to E! Online, the princess of R&B and her husband Jay-Z have become parents for the first time this Saturday, January 6.
Lately, everyone has had their eyes on the couple, anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first child.
The New York Daily News reported that the singer was admitted Friday night at Lenox Hill Hospital in eastern Manhattan, registering under the name of “Ingrid Jackson.”
Beyoncé and her husband reportedly rented the entire fourth floor of the hospital for $ 1.3 million.
The singer’s entourage is discrete and the news was out on Sunday morning, still not officially confirmed.
Celebrities who are friends of the couple took to Twitter to publicly congratulate the happy parents.
“Welcome to the world princess Carter!” Rihanna Tweeted Saturday night. “Love Aunty Rih.”
“The most beautiful girl in the world,” Beyoncé’s sister, Solange Knowles, Tweeted Sunday morning.
The singer made the announcement of her pregnancy during the MTV Video Music Awards in August.
