Carrie Underwood slams possible pregnancy rumors

“I don’t want people assuming that I am [pregnant] until I say that I am,” she told People. “We just got married. We haven’t been married a year yet. I would want to be married for a little while [before having kids].”

The country singer says she even has a specific wardrobe that helps her avoid looking like she’s sporting a baby bump.

“[I] choose my wardrobe differently because when I wear something a little baggier, I’m like, nope, people are going to think I’m hiding something, so I better not wear that,” she explains. “So it does make me kind of think a little extra.”

And since her hubby was traded from the Ottawa Senators hockey team to the Nashville Predators, the two lovebirds enjoy each other’s company.

“Now we’re just having fun, and we should,” Underwood says. “I’m 28. I’m not a lot older and like, need to have kids now. We have plenty of time.”
