Chris Brown apologizes for GMA backstage incident

Chris Brown apologized for the fit he went in the backstage of the show Good Morning America on March 22.

Last week, Chris Brown was a guest on Good Morning America. But not everything went as planned. The American singer entered into a rage backstage at the show, trashing his dressing room and smashing a window, forcing the personnel call security.

Chris Brown wishes to apologize for his excessive behavior.

But his outbursts of violence revive bad memories. Brown is currently on probation for his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.

But Tuesday morning, a morning show reporter from GMA asked the singer, who was there promoting his new album FAME, about his conviction and the restraining order he received following the incident. But the 21-year-old singer didn’t like the questions.

On leaving the set, Chris Brown needed to take it out and as a consequence trashed what came in his way.

Today, Chris Brown said: “First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really looked, and [was] disappointed at my actions. Because I’m disappointed in the way I acted.”

If the reporter, for her part, said she had never sought to trap the singer and she asked the questions that had been agreed in advance, Chris Brown denies this version. He also insists that his professional team had validated only subjects that were positive and were about his music and album.

In a statement, ABC News said that Brown was invited to Good Morning America to perform a song and be interviewed. The network denied having made an agreement in advance with Brown about the topics that would be discussed during the interview.
