After proudly announcing he had successfully completed a year-long domestic violence course and showing the certificate on his Twitter account, Chris Brown once again uses the social network for less glorious actions.
The incident began on Wednesday when Raz-B challenged Chris Brown in a message, reminding him of his attack against Rihanna: “I’m just sittin here thinking how can n—as like [Eric Benet] and [Chris Brown] disrespect women as intelligent as Halle Berry, Rihanna.”
Singer Eric Benet, who formed a couple with Halle Berry a few years ago, physically abused the 44-year-old actress.
Chris Brown then went after Raz-B, referring to allegations of sexual abuse that he has already filed against his former manager: “N—a you want attention! Grow up n—a!!! Di– in da booty ass lil boy.”
“I was minding my damn business and Peter pan decides to pop off!!!” Brown wrote. “I’m not mad though!!! I’m just not silent nor am i one of these scary R&B cats!!”
Raz then continued his criticism: “When I need tips on how to demolish my career I’ll call ya!!!! I love how u resort 2 disrespectful low brow tactics when u clearly sabotaged ur own career by beating women.”
“I love how u resort 2 disrespectful low brow tactics when u clearly sabotaged ur own career by beating women,” the former B2K member wrote.
The homophobic nature of the comments sparked grumbling from several users. Brown defended himself against homophobic accusations: “I’m not homophobic! He’s just disrespectful!!!”, assuring his gay fans that “this immature act is not targeted at you!!!!”
Chris Brown was convicted in 2009 for assaulting Rihanna and was consequently required to take the once-a-week class for one year, sentenced to 180 days of community labor, placed on five years of probation and issued a stay-away order from Rihanna.
After the quarrel, the two singers made their excuses for their homophobic comments and seem to have turned the page.
