Chris Brown became enraged after an interview with “Good Morning America” this Tuesday, March 22.
He reportedly didn’t appreciate that journalist Robin Roberts asked him many questions about Rihanna and the incident in which he assaulted his former girlfriend.
According to several TMZ, Brown allegedly smashed a window in the building where the morning show is broadcast by ABC. He then left the building, located in Times Square, New York, shirtless despite the chilly weather.
Reports say the singer was arrested following the incident.
Things started to go wrong when Robin Roberts wanted to talk to Brown about Rihanna. The artist first attempted to change the subject and promote his new album “FAME”. The journalist still continued to talk to him about the assault of his former girlfriend.
According to TMZ, Brown reportedly went backstage after the interview and smashed a window of the television studio with a chair. Shards of glass were found even on the sidewalk at the corner of 43rd Street and Broadway. The security guards were called to the scene. Upon arrival, Brown left the stage, half-dressed.
Brown still performed a song after the interview. He was also scheduled to sing a second one, but didn’t comply because of his anger, reports People.
Sources tell TMZ that Brown had given the green light to Roberts and told him about Rihanna before the interview.
Shortly after the incident, Brown expressed his rage on Twitter: “I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t.”
He then erased the message and added a new one that reads, “All my fans!!! This album is for you and only you!!! I’m so tired of everyone else!! Honestly!! I love team breezy!!”
Next week, Chris Brown has to appear on the show “Dancing with the Stars.”
