Christina Aguilera’s new man

On Friday Aguilera and Rutler went out together at Soho House in Los Angeles, in the company of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. Aguilera tried in vain to hide the young man from the cameras of photographers.

A friend of the singer told People that her relationship with Rutler was first born under the sign of friendship. It then took a turn romantic.

“It’s not serious yet, but it’s something she is exploring and finding comfort in,” her friend says. “It’s new and she’s taking it day by day. She and Jordan were having problems for a long time. What kept them together is their love for their son. She met [Matthew] on set and, during a difficult time, leaned on as a friend. After she and Jordan separated, the friendship turned romantic.”

Even if she is dating a new guy, Aguilera’s son Max, who turns 3 years old in January remains her no.1 priority, the source said.

Shortly after announcing her split from Bratman on September 11, Christina Aguilera filed for divorce in October.
