NBC hasn’t fired the singer from its show despite rumors arguing the contrary.

Recent rumors claimed Christina Aguilera had been sacked from The Voice, with one source even saying: “She doesn’t spend time with her contestants like she’s supposed to. She doesn’t participate. She spends most of her time on set with her boyfriend.”

However, the network has denied the claims.

“There is absolutely no truth to the rumor,” Paul Telegdy, NBC Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, told Access Hollywood on Monday.

The second season of the competition will premiere on February 5, following the Super Bowl.

Aguilera will reprise her role as a judge alongside Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
