The show “The Immortal Michael Jackson World Tour” by Cirque du Soleil will be premiered at the Bell Center in October 2011.

After performing shows inspired by the music of Elvis Presley and The Beatles, Cirque du Soleil is now preparing a show about the life and music of Michael Jackson.

Unlike the previous two shows, which were held in Las Vegas, the show called “The Immortal Michael Jackson World Tour” is designed to tour. Thus, Montreal and Quebec have been confirmed on the route of Cirque du Soleil.

Montreal will be the first city, as the extravaganza will settle for two nights at the Bell Centre on 2 and 3 October 2011.The Cirque will then return to the province for a performance at the Quebec Coliseum March 24, 2012.

The show revolves around a tree, called The Giving Tree, which served as a source of inspiration for Michael Jackson, and also around a fantasy world, an occasion for the enactment of many circus acts and dances on Jackson’s music.

Conceived and directed by Jamie King, who has worked with Madonna, Celine Dion, Rihanna and Britney Spears, the show will offer a mixture of screenings, dance and music to immerse the viewer into the creative world of the King of Pop.

Original songs by Michael Jackson will also be incorporated into the show.

Tickets go on sale next Saturday, November 6, at noon and will retail between $ 50 and $ 250. A presale is underway for Cirque Club members and the site MichaelJackson.com.
