The District Attorney has asked to see Michael Jackson’s last two rehearsals for the “This Is It” tour during Dr. Conrad Murray’s manslaughter trial.
According to TMZ, the L.A. County District Attorney asked the judge to allow rehearsal footage from June 23 and June 24 to be entered as evidence in Murray’s trial.
The D.A. wants the clips as they believe they would stand as a good proof of director Kenny Ortega’s claims that Michael was “happy and excited for the future.”
This comes in contrast to the defense’s theory that says Michael “did a desperate act and took desperate measures that caused his own death” right after the last rehearsal.
In addition, limited photos from MJ’s autopsy might be brought up during the trial, with the D.A. claiming the pics are not “gory or gruesome” and they won’t prejudice the jury.
