Demi Lovato has left rehab where she was seeking treatment for “emotional and physical issues.”
“Demi came back to L.A. earlier this week,” a source close to the star said. “She completed her prescribed treatment and an outpatient program near the treatment facility. For now, she is getting back to her regular routine and spending time with her family and close friends. Demi will continue to focus first and foremost on her well-being.”
“She will continue to see doctors in L.A. who will help her work on the issues she confronted in treatment,” the source added. “For now, she is getting back to her regular routine and spending time with her family and close friends. She is so grateful to all of her fans for their support, and looks forward to being able to talk to all of them very soon.”
At 18, Demi Lovato checked into rehab last October after an altercation with a dancer on the Jonas Brothers tour. The singer also had difficulties overcoming her breakup with Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers.
Today she is much better and seems determined to go back on the road and begin a solo tour to win back her audience, as soon as possible. A new page turns for the brunette who wants a fresh start towards a happier future.
