Demi Lovato has recorded a video message for her fans in which she thanks them for their support.
She recalls her eating disorders and stages of self-mutilation, and says how much the messages from her fans have been favorable to her recovery.
“Your support is what got me through this,” Lovato said in a video message posted on Cambio.com.
“I’m back and home,” said the brunette. The actress who has left the rehabilitation center in late January, hasn’t released any official statement until now, so this is her first post-rehab appearance.
The actress and singer also states that “the journey has been very difficult” and thanked all her fans for their unwavering support they had given her during this period in her life, which she called “the darkest time of my life.”
Regarding her future plans, Demi remained very allusive just stating that she was eager to resume work, but gave no further details, despite persistent rumors about her likely departure from the series “Sonny with a Chance”.
The star had to stop filming for healing. We know however that she has again entered the studio to record upcoming titles, and she’s still the brand ambassador for cosmetics Clean & Clear.
“Demi’s management will inform us when she is ready to return to work,” a Disney Channel spokeswoman said on Monday.
