Discover Nelson and Eddy, Céline Dion’s twins
They are only seven weeks old and they’re already famous. Nelson and Eddy, Céline Dion’s twins, make the cover of Canadian Hello! Magazine.
“They’re so cute, it’s incredible,” said Celine. “When we look at them we can’t believe it, and to have them here at home – it’s all we could wish for.”
It’s a nice gift that Celine gives her fans, a few days before Christmas. By Thursday, they will indeed find a photo album of some twenty pages devoted entirely to the Dion-Angelil family.
In her luxurious Florida home, the young and radiant mother of 42 tells how his life and that of her husband René Angelil, 68, have been disrupted by the birth of their twins by caesarean section on October 23.
The singer presents the boys for the first time and also confides about the difficulties of being a mom.
“If I thought I was busy before and if I thought I didn’t have any sleep before, oh my goodness. It’s a miracle that we don’t die with no sleep, yet we raise our babies.”added the singer of 42 years.
“I’m still in my pyjamas at lunchtime,” she said. “There’s no sleep! You breastfeed for an hour and a half, change the (babies’) diapers and pyjamas … I’m trying to do it all.”
But, as she has recently stated in another interview, “The love and what I feel inside, what we have accomplished – I don’t know how to put it into words. It’s bigger than life itself.”
As for the babies’ names, Nelson is named after South African leader Nelson Mandela, while Eddy gets his name from the late songwriter Eddy Marnay, who produced Dion’s first five records.
