Elton John won’t attend Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding

This announcement greatly surprised the British, but it seems that the singer has simply not been invited to the wedding.

Immediately after the announcement of Prince William’s marriage, Elton John was seen as the first great guest. It was even speculated that he would sing in honor of the two spouses.

However, these rumors were false and baseless. The British pop star said he would not be in London next April 29 in Westminster Abbey. Elton John told Reuters: “I think because of my relationship with Princess Diana, people automatically think I’m going to be invited.”

But as he doesn’t know Prince William well, “I’m not invited to the wedding, I would not expect to be invited to the wedding,” he says.

The singer has no resentment about the lack of invitation. Instead, Elton John remains very positive and said: “These boys are their own people, they have their own friends. I just hope that they have the best day and it’s sunny and it’s a great occasion for them.”
