Jamie Foxx confirmed as host for Michael Jackson tribute concert

The actor and musician will host the “Michael Forever – The Tribute Concert” to be held in Cardiff, Wales, in October.

A spokesman for Jamie Foxx said Monday that the Oscar winner will host the event scheduled for October 8, which will bring together on stage Christina Aguilera, Smokey Robinson, Leona Lewis, JLS, Craig David and Cee Lo Green.

MJ’s brothers Randy, Jermaine and sister Janet recently announced that they will not bwon’t be present at the concert in Cardiff , considering that the show that will take place at the same time as Dr Conrad Murray’s trial.

Beyoncewill shoot a video for the Michael Jackson tribute concert instead of offering a live performance via satellite, as initially announced.

Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to charities In the U.S. and the U.K.
