Jennifer Lopez explained to Jane Fonda why she fired a manager who told her to lose weight

The singer revealed that she once fired a manager who told her to lose weight.

Lopez, 42, discussed the subject with famous actress Jane Fonda, 73, in an interview.

“I read that you once fired a manager who told you to lose weight,” said Fonda.

“I was just so infuriated that somebody said you couldn’t have a little extra meat on you – because I was by no means fat! That was so mean and closed-minded,” the actress/singer said.

“I was like: No, this is who I am and this is the type of woman that I grew up with and it was beautiful and there’s no reason to be anybody but myself,” she added.

The American Idol judge also said that she doesn’t feel any pressure to take up a diet.

“No, I don’t get that now,” the mom-of-two says. “I think people know better.”

Regarding plastic surgery, Lopez said she hasn’t decided yet if she’ll do it or not.

“Honestly, I’m not going to make a judgment on it because I don’t have to yet,” the singer told Fonda.

“I mean, I’d like to think I’ll feel great about myself and age gracefully, but then I think: Well, what if I do want a little bit of something?”

“I’m open to being open,” the American Idol judge said.

With or without diet, Jennifer is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world.
