News broke yesterday that Jessica Simpson is expecting her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson.

According to Touch Weekly, the 31-year-old singer recently attended Eric’s 32nd birthday party, where she sent back her glass of champagne for a birthday toast.

Photos of Simpson dressed in loose-fitting clothes have fueled speculation on a possible pregnancy lately.

Reports now say that Jessica has signed with People for the exclusive news and many assume the singer might be the magazine’s cover girl.
