Jewel and husband Ty Murray welcome baby boy Kase Townes
Jewel is a mother for the first time.
On Monday, Jewel gave birth to a boy weighing 7 lbs., 6 oz., named Kase Townes Murray.
The 37-year-old singer and her husband released a statement to People magazine: “Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world.” “We are overcome with happiness – it really is as great as everyone told us it would be – better even!”
The artist has struggled for a while to get pregnant. In addition, in March, when she was five months pregnant, she was the victim of a car accident when her Cadillac hit a fire truck.
