Jewel and Ty Murray will be parents of a baby boy
Jewel and Ty Murray have just found out the sex of their first child: it’s a baby boy.
“We would have been happy either way, of course, but we are so excited to be having a little boy,” Jewel told People.
Earlier this month, the 36-year-old singer revealed that she and her husband, rodeo champion Ty Murray, are expecting her first child.
The couple now plans to remodel their guest room at their 2,200-acre ranch in Texas as they’re waiting for the arrival of the baby.
“I have to admit, I was doing a little dance on our way out of the doctor’s office when we found out!” Murray said.
Jewel is currently working a children’s album, following her recent release of a collection of children’s songs titled “Lullaby” in 2009.
