Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez got engaged on Valentine’s Day?

Separated for several weeks because of Selena’s South American tour and Justin’s recording of his new album, the two lovebirds enjoyed a well-deserved getaway at a Thai restaurant in Manhattan.

During the evening, Justin took the opportunity to offer her girlfriend an early Valentine’s Day present: a ring set with a diamond featuring the initial “J”.

The 19-year-old singer posted a photo of the ring on her Twitter page on Sunday, along with the message, “I’m finally home ”

The picture sparked speculation that Justin proposed to his girlfriend, especially as the Biebs has stated in the past that he would like to marry young.

Earlier this week, Gomez confirmed that she has split with her band The Scene she plans to concentrate on her movie career.

“my band and I are going our separate ways for a while,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “This year is all about films and acting and I want my band to play music wherever with whoever. We will be back but, it will be a good while. I love them and I love you guys ”
