Justin Bieber is the latest celebrity to take part in PETA’s campaigns, an organization that defends animal rights. He asked his fans in particular to adopt animals from shelters.

Bieber appears on poster with tag lines like “My World Includes Passion for Animals, Yours Should Too” and “Animals Can Make U Smile, Adopt From Your Local Shelter.”

“It’s really important that people adopt,” Bieber says. “I really encourage going out to an animal shelter or a place where you can get a dog who has been abandoned or doesn’t have a home.”

Bieber is in favor of the adoption of animals from shelters and against violence to our animal friends. The singer revealed that he had adopted his dog Sam from a shelter after moving to a city where he knew nobody. The dog had become the friend he needed.

For posters, the pop star poses with a dog named Bijou.

Cliff Watts, who has already immortalized Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, worked with Bieber for the PETA shots.

Pamela Anderson, Paul McCartney, Eva Mendes and Pink are among the stars who have participated in campaigns for PETA.
