Justin Timberlake frankly admits smoking pot
In an interview with Playboy magazine, Justin Timberlake admits to smoking marijuana.
The magazine asked the singer if he was smoking weed. “Absolutely,” he replied.
“The thing pot does for me is it gets me to stop thinking. Sometimes I have a brain that needs to be turned off. Some people are just better high.”
The “Bad Teacher” actor is now feeling the need to relax and plans to enjoy life.
His last solo album, “FutureSex / LoveSounds,” was released in 2006.
“I’m just getting to a point in my life where I’m looking around, going, There’s a lot to enjoy if I can sit still, actually stop and take more time.”
“I don’t have a single song ready to go,” Justin admitted. “People keep asking me when a new song or album is coming out, and I don’t know what to say. Music is not my focus right now. It may be someday. It could happen next month or next year but right now it’s not.”
Regarding his being linked to celebrities like Olivia Wilde, Ashley Olsen and Mila Kunis, he commented: “You probably gravitate toward people who understand your scenario. At the end of the day you just want someone who gets you, who can be a friend. That’s kind of the point of Friends with Benefits.”
