U.S. rappers Kanye West and Jay-Z will record an album together, titled “Watch The Throne”, informs nme.com.
In an interview with MTV, rapper Kanye West announced his fans that recordings for the album have already begun and they will continue in France.
“We’re going to the south of France at the end of this month, just to record new ideas,” he said. “We’ll probably be done with the album in a day or whatever.”, said the American rapper.
“We’ve done about five [songs] so far… but we got some more. But think about it, it’s really easy; he only has to think of 10 verses.” added Kanye.
The latest album by Kanye West, titled “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”, will be released on November 22.
American rapper and producer Kanye West, aged 33, became known in early 2000. His third album, “Graduation”, was one of the biggest selling albums of the yaer 2007. West has won three Grammy awards.
Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, husband of the famous singer Beyonce, is the richest hip-hop artist in the world, according to Forbes, with an estimated fortune of over 500 million dollars in 2009.
Jay-Z has sold over 40 million records worldwide and was awarded 10 Grammys.
