Katy Perry and Russell Brand slam breakup rumors
The two stars have taken to Twitter to deny allegations of a split.
Katy Perry and Russell Brand married last year, but they have been the subject of speculation regarding possible problems in her marriage in recent months.
Last week speculation arose when Russell was seen with a mysterious Katy look-alike brunette.
Add to all these the fact that the pair is spending little time together due to their busy schedules.
However, they have decided to fight back.
“Just cause we don’t flaunt our relationship doesn’t mean there’s something wrong,” Katy wrote. “Privacy is our luxury. #tabloidsrtrash #gossipisgross”
Brand backed his wife’s comments: “You tell ‘em Mrs Brand! In Britain we’re currently dismantling the scum media so I’m not tuned in to their brain-farting.”
Previous claims that the couple is on the rocks after being together for four days in the last six months prompted Katy to sue the tabloid.
