Katy Perry and Russell Brand to marry in India

According to an Indian source for AP, Russell Brand and Katy Perry’s wedding will take place this weekend in an India luxury resort outside the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary.

The couple arrived in Mumbai for several days to begin their six-day celebration starting tomorrow with a Hindu wedding ceremony.

Rajasthan Tours manager Mohan Singh revealed that “This would be a colorful Rajasthan wedding, and both Brand and Perry would be attired in Indian wedding attires.”

As we previously reported, Brand and Perry met in September 2009, got engaged in December and getting married this weekend in Indian style.

Preparing everyone for this event, Katy wrote on her Twitter page “TWIT BREAK: Greatest gift you can give us is respect and love during this private time. No use wasting our time with STOLEN or FALSE info. Thank you for this.”

Besides, the pair decided to give exclusive coverage rights to an English magazine.
