Kylie Minogue marks 25th anniversary in music with new album next year

The Australian pop star plans to celebrate her 25th anniversary of the release of her debut single Locomotion with a special compilation of her classic hits.

According to Music Week, Minogue has been working on the album at Abbey Road for the past two weeks.

“I’ve been at Abbey Road for about two weeks in total,” Kylie revealed. “Not just for this, I’ve been working on a project for next year. Next year’s my 25th anniversary so we’ve been recording acoustic and orchestral versions of a number of my hits.”

The singer’s latest album Aphrodite was released in 2010 and it was her 11th studio LP.

Kylie has posted pictures of herself taken at Abbey Road on Twitter and also posted a message which read: “On a positive note… maybe I will upload a little song from last night… later!”
